Physician And Health Care Professional Organizations

For physicians and physician-led organizations, participation in the Coalition offers the best opportunity to facilitate development of clinical and scientific evidence for use of medical cannabis, reform restrictive federal laws that inhibit research and patient access, and advance patient outcomes and safety. Heath care organizations will gain access to leaders in the medical cannabis corporate and investor community, which will provide additional insights regarding the use of medical cannabis and industry practices across the U.S.

Patient Advocacy Organizations and Academic Institutions

For patient advocacy organizations and academic institutions, participation in the Coalition offers an opportunity to engage with physicians and researchers committed to supporting development of the clinical and scientific evidence for appropriate use of medical cannabis. By joining with physician experts, patient- and academic-focused organizations will be well-positioned to advance federal policies enhancing patient outcomes and safety in the use of medical cannabis.

Corporate Entities

For corporate entities, including investors, representatives of for-profit entities, and other business ventures, participation in the Coalition offers the best opportunity to stay informed in the rapidly changing medical cannabis environment. Corporate members will hear first-hand about activities facilitating clinical and scientific evidence for use of medical cannabis, reforming restrictive federal laws that inhibit research and patient access, and advancing patient outcomes and safety. Investors and companies will have opportunities to engage with leading researchers, providers and other medical cannabis experts. The Coalition will provide structured events, enabling business members to share information with physicians on the front lines in medical cannabis research, while gaining insights into physician and patient successes and challenges.

Individuals

For individuals interested in participating in the coalition, particularly physicians, health care professionals and patient advocates, we have established an individual membership category to facilitate access by a broad range of forward-thinking experts and advocates. This membership category is not available to individuals in corporate entities, academic entities, or other industry groups or companies.

The Medical Cannabis Research Advocacy Alliance (MCRAA), a physician led, patient focused, multi-stakeholder coalition, seeks to educate patients, policymakers, and the medical community about the crucial need to advance medical cannabis research in order to protect patients, further scientific knowledge, and to realize the full potential of evidence-based medical cannabis treatments that can positively impact and improve patient health and wellbeing.
